Starting File Descriptor offset: TAS 7 vs. TAS 5.1 | |
TAS 7 (and 6) | |

File descriptor offsets always started with 1 (one) in TAS 5.1. In TAS 7 (as well as TAS 6), the offset instead starts at 0 (zero).
This does not create a problem with converted or parallel descriptor structures and data file readability. So, a data file that has a descriptor structure created in (or converted to) TAS 7 that is exactly the same as a structure in 5.1 will be able to read the exact same (Btrieve) data file without any adverse effects.
